What clinical QC looks like in a Simulink model
Traceability is not a pharma word. A model that only two people understand is a clinical database that only two people can lock.
Automotive software and clinical programming look unrelated until you watch a team inherit someone else’s work. Unreviewed Simulink, like unreviewed SAS, is a gift that turns into a finding.
The habits transfer: named authors, independent review, a short standard, tests around the interfaces, a handover that a stranger can run. We do not pretend ISO 26262 is ICH. We do pretend that mystery is expensive.
If your model is already a thicket, a refactor sprint with a written standard is usually cheaper than hiring a permanent archaeologist.
