About
A studio, not a waiting room.
CodLad was founded in Dublin in 2019 to co-build clinical and technical strategies from the first brief — statistical programming, data management, and the automotive code that shares the same obsession with traceability.
Mission
Measured value. Believed results.
We identify the actual bottleneck — a TLF wave, a lock, a model, a missing ADaM — and we staff it with people who have done it before. The mission is not to be the largest CRO. It is to be the partner a biometrics lead still answers on Sunday.
Our vision is to be the studio of choice for statistics, programming and data science across pharma and biotech, with a second practice that writes software vehicles can run.

Founder
Yen Phan
Founder & Senior Clinical Data Scientist
Yen built CodLad after years in clinical data science. In 2022 she received the Data Scientist Award at the Diversity in Tech Awards. The studio still runs on that standard: serious science, readable English, and programs someone else can inherit.
Values
What we will not trade away.
Quality that is measured
We aim at 100% on-time and 100% quality because the alternative is a finding. QC is a named person, not a slogan.
Dedicated teamwork
A small bench. You get a lead who stays through questions, not a rotation of anonymous contractors.
Unquestionable integrity
If we cannot do the work, we say so before the PO. We do not pad TLF lists.
Affordable, not cheap
High productivity and competitive rates. Up to 40% below typical client-support pricing on comparable work.
On time, as a habit
Lock dates move. We plan for that. We do not discover it on Friday.
Constant development
MedDRA, CDISC, MATLAB — the tools move. So do we.
Tell us what is on the clock.
A scoping call is thirty minutes. Bring a protocol, a TLF list, or a model that needs hands.
